Well, first and foremost, you should know a lot about what you're writing about. It would be rather difficult if you don't have enough information so research more about your topic.

Second, of course, you wouldn't want your reader hanging about what you're writing about so the Introduction must contain all the basic information about your topic. What are you comparing? What are these things all about? How important are these things for you to share your comparison about it? A little history, perhaps, would also work, but make sure that your introduction is brief. All you need to write here is something catchy and as I have said, a little information on your topic.

Third, the Body is where all the comparing and contrasting should happen. Here in the Philippines, there has been much debate about the Charter Change from presidential to parliamentary system of government, so if I were to write about it, I'd first write the advantages and disadvantages for each system and compare them, then I'd find the similarities and differences, or vice versa. And because it's much of an issue, I'd find my position on the topic and make a stand out of it. It's like finding out what's the same and what's different between the two (or any number for that matter) ideas and make them move in just one plane and meet at just one point. (Now I'm speaking geometry!Hehe.)

Fourth, a conclusion sums up everything from the head to the body, and most would write the reiteration of arguments in this last part. This part is crucial too, especially that you wouldn't want your readers looking for more answers. Write here the most important points that you have tried to bring up in your Body. IF you're making a stand, like if it's a paper on pro-choice/pro-life or pro-internet/anti-internet, then try to emphasize your stand in the conclusion.

Fifth, don't forget to use words for connecting, comparing and contrasting sentences such as: And, But, However, Therefore, Thus, Although etc. These will make your paper look more like a contrast/compare paper and try to use the level of language that your teacher prefers. Also, don't forget to 'stick' with your topic and never stray away from it, or your paper would become unworthy of an A+!

I hope I was able to help you. Good luck with your paper! :)
