A University of Michigan study shows that homework has skyrocketed by 51% since the 1980's. Even recess during school hours in the elementary grades has been eliminated or endangered in many areas. Is all of this really an abdication of responsibility by so-called educators in the public schools? Does all of this make home schooling more attractive to you?

Hi there, im in high school, and ive got an exam tommorow, and would like your opinion. You see, i have to write about the film Shawshank Redemption, and it uses a lot of forshadowing (e.g. the main character - Andy .. rebels , as a sign of events to come - when he escapes from prison)..and so on, Anyways, the essay question would be 'Explain how film techniques are used in this film'.. I know that these include things like voice over narrative, camera shots, etc. but i was wondering if forshadowing is one, as it seems very interesting to write about? THANKS SO MUCH!

ok one of my problems that i have and idk exactly how to do it and its very easy but i cant think of it and neither can my sister. so its an equation problem...

so the problem is write an equation that represents the number of Calories a person would have to burn a day to lose four pounds in two weeks??
