Someone is trying to convince me that it can, as it is the person's wrong. Personally, I think that's a load of bull. That's like saying people "own" hate, love, jealousy and other emotions. I mean, can I really go onto eBay and say "I'm selling confidence! Only £5!"? I think not.

I am having trouble trying to understand this poem:

Some things are very dear to me--
Such things as flowers bathed by rain
Or patterns traced upon the sea
Or crocuses where snow has lain . . .
The iridescence of a gem,
The moon's cool opalescent light,
Azaleas and the scent of them,
And honeysuckles in the night.
And many sounds are also dear--
Like winds that sing among the trees
Or crickets calling from the weir
Or Negroes humming melodies.
But dearer far than all surmise
Are sudden tear-drops in your eyes

You have 2 gallons of water under a 120 volt (15 watt) bulb. What is the formula used to represent the relation between water temperature and time? Plug into the equation what you know.

It is asking it like, "how long does it take the water to heat from 20 degrees to 30 degrees, or how many degrees will the temperature change in 2 hours." That type of relation. I have no idea how to do this. Please Help! I wasnt in class yesterday.

My stats are:
gpa weighted- 4.039
unweighted- 3.8
4 aps, 5 honors
class rank- 41/538
m-620, cr-570, w-600
varsity letters- 1 for cross country, 2 track and field..plenty of extracirculars and community service

I applied early decision to juniata college- its competitive but not like ivy league or anything. I also just applied to Moravian College- I dont know much about it but it seems like a good fit for me. My guidance counselor rates juniata a 3 and moravian a 2 out of 5 for me, meaning i have a very good shot at getting into moravian and about 60-70% of getting into juniata. Am I okay just applying to these two and no others? Is it likely that i will be turned down by both of these colleges?

I put a previous employer down as a reference and when she was called she said I had stolen checks and forged them and that she had me on camera, which is totally not true. This is the first I have heard of this.

Is there anyone with symilar backround? I am 32, and hve a BA. I have lacked the confidence to try acheiving my dream until adulthood. I have started all of the prliminary things.. Clinical experience, science classes, books, timeline etc. . I am a little reluctant, because my previous grade have not been all that stellar. I am now focused and doing very well in school. I am looking for someone that has had a symilar history an has been successful. I guess I am just looking for some positive advice...

Besides control the television with the massive advertisement, the corporations also control the newspapers and internet websites. Newspapers had also changed into a control device for corporations. The more ads in the newspapers, the more money the newspaper company make and the newspapers articles become more like a decorations for the corporations and even the newspaper company. Rather than continue what our founding fathers fought to gain the freedom of press to the United States citizens, newspapers changed over the years “…win readers by entertaining them with photographs, comic strips, sports sections, advice to the lovelorn and stories of sex and crime” (Janda, 171). Mostly of the newspapers consumers only purchase the newspapers not to read the news but to look the entertainment sections like the sports and comic. The Sunday newspapers is the big pay check, most of the corporations invest more money to place their catalogs and advertisement in the newspapers.
