What is a comet? What are some.. "facts" about it?

I know it's easy but, when I'm going to look in the internet, all the descriptions are.. too complicated.

I am in my early 20's and I want to futher my studies but the thing is I am a temporary employee and I pay my own rent and stuff, basically I am dependant on myself.I really wish to study Graphic and Advertising Design but it is costly and it is not so easy here to get a bursary :-( I thought of opening a small business but for that I'll need Capital and I do not want a loan.

I am white, officialy British, although I would say English, nominaly Christian, CofE but in reality very agnostic.
All the Poles, Russians, Ukrainians and Italians I have so far met have all been aslo white, nominally christian. As have most of the Scotts and Welsh. Yet negative comments about any of these by someone like me would be called racist by most people not what it really is nationalistic.
