I slacked off during my elementary school years not doing my homework, getting poor grades and receiving my fair share of trouble from teachers because of it. At 12 this irresponsible attitude caught up with me and my grades really plummeted that year. I flunked out of parochial school and the sadness I experienced led me to turn my life around. I will receive my college diploma in June and plan to become an elementary school teacher after finishing the teaching credential program. As my graduation date approaches I feel more nervous now that my past will be discovered and no decent school will want to hire me. I still live in the same area I went to elementary school in and even though I haven't seen those teachers in years I dream about them every once in awhile. Last night I had another dream which prompted me to ask this question. I am 12 again in the dreams. How can I defend myself against others (teachers and parents) if they find out? Teachers are supposed to be good examples.

i need more than dictators. im looking for an evil individual to fit each criteria:
-Master (at some domain ex: Mozart)
-Maker (of some domain ex: Sigmund Freud)
-Introspector (of themself ex: Virginia Woolf)
-Influencer (of people ex: Ghandi)

if you noticed, those examples were of "good" people. i want to write an essay to show that great individuals dont always have to be good.

Now, the influencer i know i'm going to use someone like hitler, since he is most notably greatest evil speaker. but what about the others?

please send answer with the smartest evil people you know!

I hate having to wait another semester each time. When do you know if college isn't right for you? I am so close to graduating yet I am so close to giving up on myself!

A couple of years ago I volunteered in a kindergarten classroom in my town. Our school district recently adopted an all-day kindergarten program. I came to the classroom during the afternoon, and I noticed that several of the students were tired and it was difficult for some of them to get their work done and difficult for me to encourage them. Do you think that since many school districts are adopting all day kindergarten, that naps should be brought back?

My older cousin is applying to Berkley, Stanford, and the University of Chicago, along with her first choice of Notre Dame. She had a 3.91 unweighted GPA, has taken four A.P. classes this year (senior) and took three last year, is fluent in Spanish, and goes to a highly selective Catholic prep school in Dallas. She has lots of volunteer work at her church and spent a semester in Spain.

Do you think she'll get in?

I graduated from college last June with a science degree (geology). Now I teach high school (chemistry and physics). Frankly, I didn't enjoy the courses I took in college, and I don't ever plan on going to grad school in geology or going into the field at all; probably I'll stay with teaching, or maybe go to law school...
Anyway, I live in a small apartment and all my old textbooks and homework are taking up a lot of space. I want to sell the books and toss the homework, but my parents so far have convinced me not to do it. They say I'll want the textbooks in case I go to grad school (which is especially silly since the science is changing quickly and I would need the most up-to-date books if I went back) and I'll want the homework for sentimental reasons. They both have kept all their stuff from college, though I doubt they look at it, and they both have problems getting rid of other things.
My question is, did you get rid of college stuff, and did you regret it later on?
