There are quite a few really top notch Teacher's colleges. Check with some of the teachers you respect and get their opinions. Also, look to see where some of the top teachers in your state are coming from. I chose a university that had been a teacher's college from inception in the late 1800's, and whose emphasis, although it was a major university, was still on putting out top quality teachers.
