ok, all i know is that you need a body(support) and a conclusion, and you need thing at the begining. what do you call that? and how do you wrtie a thesis? for example you are writing about a computer. so what do you need to write for the beginning? and where does the these go? before the first paragraph or after the first paragraph? and also, what do you do for the body? i know that you have to write something to support your first paragraph, and how do you write the conclusion? like for example....you write "inconclusion, blah, blah, blah....etc" is there any other ways you can start off writing it? and how do you start with the first paragraph? like what word do u use? and what word do you use for the body? and is there anything else i need to know to wrtie a perfect essay? I'm filling out a form online and I need to write some information about myself, no more than 500 characters. I thought characters meant individual letters, but one of my friends is telling me it means words. Who's right? The form holds way more than 500 words, so I'm not sure which it is.

Why did President Lincoln Issue the Emancipation Proclomation?

-In September 1862, Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclomation, which basically said that slaves were freed in the states that were still in rebellion against the Union(Confederate states). why?

I am writing a summary paper on a social darwinism book. The book is composed of many authors and their philosophies and ideas. The instructions specifically say "present the authors' ideas objectively, without inserting your own opinion".

Can someone clarify what it means to present ideas objectively?

My daughter is doing this project on geometry. She really is struggling on it. Basically you use a geometry word, then you find a picture that involves the word. For example there is a word angle. You need to find a picture representing the word. A building has an angle in it. The problem is we need twenty pictures.
the words all have to be geometry words. The pictures must have a theme.

Monogamy means married to one person or with one person. Bigamy and Polygamy refer to someone who is married to more than one person. So what I am asking is when someone has more than one partner and not married to any of them what is that called?? I could've sworn there is a word for that.

Im a first year student and am studying three subjects (its an obligation) and i hate both of them. I plan to drop both of them and take up two new ones. But for a while now im starting to suspect that uni might not be the right time.
