My understanding, after meeting with the Assistant Director at the UIC School of Pharmacy, is that receiving a Bachelor of Science is not a must. I was told that usually when someone is not accepted they will then get their Bachelor of Science to better help them for the next time around. I am very nervous that I will be one stuck in this situation, especially considering the UIC’s acceptance rate is about 12%. I still have a ways to go in my pre-pharmacy curriculum, but I like to get all of my worrying out of the way.

So, here’s my question. In the case that someone never gets accepted, what sorts of careers and pay can someone expect that has a Bachelor of Science? More opportunities in bio or chem? How common is it for someone to never get accepted? I await any information that you think would be helpful.

Like.. for example:

"got ripped off" because you overpaid for something.
a "rip-off" song because it's copied from another song.
"rippin' off on someone" like you're going off on someone about something.

Which one is the most correct use?

Can anyone out there tell me about home education for children who are taken out of high school? How many hours per week and what subjects do they need? who would teach the child?(would it be the parents or would it be a tutor) how expansive is it?How should someone who doesn't have a CLUE about home education go about organizing it?Who do thay need to contact? How do they know exactly how to arrange it? Is it possible for a parent whodoesn't have a CLUE about home education or how it should be structured/what materials are needed(basically doesn't know ANYTHING about it) to learn how it should be structured/howthe child should be educated? can ordinary parents home educate their child? even those with not a broad education?
how can they learn how home education is structured?
Is home educating very complicated?and if someone wanted to home educate 2 children...how could they go about this?
How many hours per day should the child be taught for? how does the child keep up with their peers?and how are subjects such as music or P.E organized?(since they are quite social activities and require other people in order to do properly)??

Can anyone help me? I am in the most awful situation ever. I missed 4 years of school, wasn't being looked after properly at home and got G grades in my GCSEs(apart from a C grade in English) I cannot believe what's happened...I've ruined my life. what on earth am I going to do...I can't cook, use a bus, even do basic stuff like that.
I am in the depths of despair. How can I ever catch up? I have looked at the possibility of doing GCSEs at college...but I have a serious problem. the GCSE courses only cover work from the last 2 years in school.I have missed years of work even from before then....so I wouldn't understand the content of the courses.i am really scared. also....even if i would somehow understand them.....I wouldn't have a clue how to put a programme of GCSEs together....what a cv is, what I would do with the GCSEs once I'd got them. What on earth am I going to do? my only other option seems to be an entry level course...i feel sick. Is there no way I can fix my education/do GCSEs? Please can anyone help??
What on earth should I do?
