My teacher and I have had a disagreement about a test I have taken. She is trying to tell me I failed a test I took when I think I passed it.... She says the only way I can pass the course and continue on in my program of study is with additional remidiation... can anyone help me by making this more clear? Is she saying I am going to have to prove my competency through something else???? Any help would be appreciated!

What do you think of this quote?

I think I might use it for my senior yearbook quote.

"Seems like yesterday, seems like forever, all at the same time."

I took the ACT October 2005. I've been accepted to a college already, I start in January, but I've been told that they need me to send my scores. I already sent my final high school transcript and I thought that had the ACT scores on there.

I went to the ACT website and clicked send scores, but it costs $13. Is there any way I can have them sent without them charging a fee?

well this is a tough subject because there are people that feal drugs are the key and I for one am agenst the drug use,
but the qeustion is how to help parents teachers/schools help kids with special needs like reading writeing ect. cause there arent enouph people helping out. the teachers just throw us in the back of the class and say try to keep up if not then to bad. emagin one special eds teacher for 6 kids imposible one is in 7 and the rest are in higher grades. and the other question is why arent the schools doing any thing about it?
yes I am one of the less helped when I was in school I have ADHD and a couple of learning disabilitys. and I gues I just hate siting back while other kids that need help get treated like dirt and are forced to think of it as well there is always manual labor.
and I would like to hear others answers to these big problems. is drugs the key to study or is it finding that one thing that makes them happy and try to help them learn?

My older sister is applying to college and I guess at one of the really big schools more than half the students that applied had 4.0 GPA's or better, and not all were accepted. Basically I was wondering how you graduate with a 4.0 or better, do you have to get all a's on every report card every year and how do you figure your gpa. Like I have 6 classes a day at highschool and all my grades are above a 95%. So like how does that work do you have to like get only a's and with only a's don't you have to get a 100% to get a perfect 4.0 gpa and how in the world do you get a 4.5 like our neighbor?
