The school my young teen goes to in the next town over when parent and teacher conferences go on we parents have to show up at the school and wait in long lines to speak to the teacher about our child (mind you in public talking about private issues).
I am wondering is this a normal way that middle schools do these conferences? I do not remember doing it this way when I went to school.
I would rather not go to these and missed this one, however I do care about my teens education. Just not comfy about talking about my child's personal issues in public! I think my child might be embarrassed by this. Living in a small town privacy is hard to come by (gossip, gossip).

When I do get to talk to the teacher they just don't seam to care what I have to say..

How many of you out there feel the same way I do?
Would you like to talk about your child's private issues in public?
Is this the way your school does there parent teacher conferences?
Do you feel this is just small town backwardness

im writing an essay about y brutus is more suitable 2 rule than cassius so far ive got:
“Why man he doth bestride the narrow world like a colossus and we petty men walk under his huge legs and peep out to find ourselves dishonorable graves.”—Cassius
Jealousy is Cassius’s fuel to burn down Caesar’s success. Cassius argues that he is worthy of the crown and in many ways is better than caesar. His jealousy does not prove him capable of commanding the country.

is there a better way of saying this & wat else could i add? its a really weak debate & i need 2 strengthen it.

i have a lot of bitchy teachers and they wont let me turn my hw in late.... i know im going to get a lot of turn it in on time answers but im not used to this much work.

in 3 days we had to write a 1st 2nd and final draft memoir and 4 pages of 20 in math, not to mention my art project and french. on top of all that i have to watch my baby brother. i dont think i can tell my mom i have d's in most of my classes within the first couple monthes of school

Well i was skipping with a couple friends and we were hanging out in his trailer for two classes after lunch and when me and my friends sneaked back into school and waited for our parents to pick us up, my mom told me she knew i was skipping when we were in the car because well i'm failing math and they called her to discuss this problem and they wanted to talk to me so they called the class i was skipping and i wasn't there. In conclusion my mom got really mad and was all disappointed but like really whats so bad i have a decision whether or not i should go to school. This is my 15th time but my first time getting caught but i was asking myself all day and well whats so bad about skipping ?
