My 21st birthday is coming up and my friends and I want to go to the new club in Hollywood called Opera. If I am honest we are a pretty attractive group of girls but we deffinitely aren't skanky (think more Lauren Conrad and less Paris Hilton). Will we have a problem getting in? What time should we plan on arriving at the club? How much should we plan on spending. Should I call ahead of time to make a reservation. Should I go on my actual birthday or waiting until the weekend? Any and all info would be helpful. Thanks!

Aside from "Pirates" and "Medieval Times"....does anyone know of any other place? I'm taking someone to celebrate their birthday this weekend (probably Sunday) and would love a dinner/show type of restaurant. Anyone have any recomendations? I'd really apreciate it. Thanks everyone. :)

The city has new policy of limiting and permitting new fast food places to be opened and at the same time allowing and issuing permits for smoking Hookah and Shisha bars all over the city. The double standards policies of the city of LA must be stopped and city officials must take another closer look at this new trend of smoking establishments.

I was out driving today (in San Pedro, LA County) and saw a poster in a popular fast-food restaurant featuring three soft-drink-like slushies - one was a Mountain Dew one, not sure what kind the other two were. Sounds good, but I can't remember which fast food place I saw the sign! Does anyone know?? Thanks :)
