The city has new policy of limiting and permitting new fast food places to be opened and at the same time allowing and issuing permits for smoking Hookah and Shisha bars all over the city. The double standards policies of the city of LA must be stopped and city officials must take another closer look at this new trend of smoking establishments.

Lv Consultant: I give a thumb up for speaking your mind and for giving me an idea of moving to China.
This is for your to think about...I was denied a Fast Food permit but I was not denied a permit to open Hookah bar with fast food served inside. You get my point or shal I complain about my X wife to you Love Couns?

because there is no reason for city officials to "not" to give those places licenses to operate such establishments. if you don't like them don't go in them, it's that simple. if you want to live somewhere that the government has control over everything move to China and see how you like it.

Edit:

of course there are double standards, this country was built on them. depending on the zoning in the area there are only "x" number of permits allowed for "y" type of businesses. But then of course if you had a friend on the zoning board even obstacles like that are easily overcome. With the Hookah/Shisha bar being the main business it's easier to get a 2nd license to also serve fast food. the fast food would not be the principle function of the business.

I thought this was the Dining Out section, not smoking or small business?
