If Aureole, main dining room or private room? I believe you have to go private at Fleur de Lys for a party that large. Wondering about differences in food, atmosphere, service, cocktail and wine prices, etc.

what are some of the cheapest places to eat in Vegas? I'll be going there in April, and have heard that the cheap buffets and shrimp cocktails and such hardly even exist there anymore. Is this true? How much are the cheap, average, and superb buffets there?

Sorry so many questions, just not sure what to expect, and need to stay on budget.
Any help would be great. THANKS!!

I'm taking my boyfriend to Vegas for his birthday in a couple weeks (he doesn't know it yet) and I'm trying to decide between a steak dinner at the Luxor Steakhouse and Prime at the Bellagio. I know some people say Ruth's Chris, but we've been there twice before and were never impressed. Any thoughts? And any insight on the price difference between the two?

My fiance and I are celebrating Valentine's Day in Vegas, and would like to have dinner at a nice steakhouse on the 14th... somewhere on the strip, or not too far from the strip. We've had Gallagher's Steakhouse in New York New York before, but would like to try something different this time.

Any recommendations?

We will have been drinking by the pool all day, so we're not looking to go to a sophisticated place where we will offend people. We'd like to be able to be loud. Medium to high price range with great food, any type. Somewhere near the strip. Thanks for your suggestions

Instead of just throwing it away, do they just box them up and give the food to the homeless population? If they don't, should they?

Okay Vegas is well known for Restraunts but there are soo many to choose from. I'm taking my girlfriend for her 21st birthday with some friends and family. We're probably looking to spend in the $50-100 per person range (for all four-five courses and wine). I generally want to shy away from Asian and Euro-Asian cuisine, as i'm asian and refuse to pay $50-100 for something i can make at home for $5. Any good recommendations of restraunts, including location, price range, how early I need to make reservations, and cuisine type. Any place you recommend against? Greatly appreciate it.

the very BEST steak.

If you want to EXCLUDE
price
ambiance
service
etc
alllll of that you can ....

I just want the BEST STEAK (period). Doesnt matter if it's a middle of the road place... off strip... fancy.... not fancy.... etc. Like i said -- you can throw out the things i mentioned on the list up there. I'm just talking about the BEST (tenderest, most falvourful) steak, period.

I can understand that a lot of the fancy joints charge you 'fluff $' because you need to pay for their volcano's & fountains.

Thx for the feedback.
