the very BEST steak.

If you want to EXCLUDE
price
ambiance
service
etc
alllll of that you can ....

I just want the BEST STEAK (period). Doesnt matter if it's a middle of the road place... off strip... fancy.... not fancy.... etc. Like i said -- you can throw out the things i mentioned on the list up there. I'm just talking about the BEST (tenderest, most falvourful) steak, period.

I can understand that a lot of the fancy joints charge you 'fluff $' because you need to pay for their volcano's & fountains.

Thx for the feedback.

The Petro Truck Stop in North Vegas, across the street from the Speedway and Carroll Shelby's place. You won't regret it.
biggest, tastiest, melt in your mouth and the ambiance isn't really that bad, after all it is still VEGAS.

Alan Albert's.
3763 Las Vegas Blvd S. It is on the strip in a little shopping center back off of the road a bit. It is kind of across the street from the Monte Carlo hotel a little ways toward downtown from the Flamingo Hilton. It has been there since at least the 50's. They only serve PRIME beef; much better than Ruth's Chris, or Morton's and others. Expect to pay about $35.00-$45.00 per entre and extra for the vegetables. With drinks you are probably in for about $90.00 per person, but it is the best steak in town. (my opinion, of course.) Others that are also very good are the "Double Eagle" steak house.

Cool thing about this place is that they have several "hot" hostesses to seat you, and they have a great bar-tender who gives a great "pour" on martinis.

You can't go wrong with either place! Enjoy!

Smith & Wollensky
3767 Las Vegas Blvd. South - Tel: 702-862-4100
This new steak and chop house out of New York City offers huge portions and some great appetizers. The Cajun rib-eye is a winner and so is the wine list. $40.00+/person.

(Hanks in Green Valley Ranch is great too)

Hank's at Green Valley Ranch has an amazing bone-in ribeye. The service is fantastic too, but that steak!! We go there once a month for our steak cravings and never leave disappointed.

Morton's (Steakhouse) on Flamingo and Paradise, just east of the strip. Awesome food and the steaks are incredible, about $30 - 40 a piece I believe.
