yeah, but they have Ruth Chris Steakhouses in a lot of cities. You could surely go to one of those in most any city. I would go with the poster that is recommending the Delmonico and the Smith & Wollensky place. I would want to go somewhere kinda special and original.

Try Smith & Wollensky's on the strip just befor you get to the MGM. It is really wonderful. You can even sit outside if you like. It's a very nice steak house without all of the "hoity toity" glitz and glamour. They focus mainly on the food and their customers. Enjoy.

My wife and I really enjoyed Craftsteak inside MGM Grand. It was pretty pricey (our tab was over $200 with wine and drinks) but it was worth it. The quality of the beef was outstanding, the atmosphere was very cool and the service was second to none.

delmonico's in the venetian is by far the best. i have eaten at smith and wollensky's, a steak place in mgm and caesar's and i forgot both their names, but delmonico was incredible. however, make sure that you make reservations very soon. we have been there twice and both times it was very busy and they were on random days during the week. if for some reason you can't make it there, smith and wollensky's next to mgm is my second favorite.

There are many.
Ask the cab driver to take you to one.
Better give him a rough idea on how much you'll be willing to spend.
