For Rusty's sake, the reason why people ask questions is because they don't know the answer. I did see the special but forgot the name of the place. Ergo, my question! If you don't know the answer then this question is not for you, Rusty. For the two people who answered my question thank you very much.

Not only is Slots of fun closed, it has been demolished!!! The closest thing available now would be at the Riviera Hotel, they have a little hot dog stand, and I believe it costs near $1.00.

The Riviera is across the street from Circus Circus.

Slots-o-Fun is the place. It is located right next door to Circus Circus. Not exactly the classiest joint on the strip, but it is one of the last places that caters to the low roller. And despite what a previous post said, they are still open. Two nearby resorts recently closed (Westward Ho and Stardust).

The snack bar is located right at the entrance. Usually for specials like that, you would need to walk through the entire casino. If you like hot dogs, you will like this. I had to try it on my last trip out there. The only thing that impressed me about it was the price and size (I could not even finish it). The flavor was alright, nothing special.

If you are looking for cheap food, make sure to also head on Downtown.

The show was on the Travel Channel and the Casino was Slots-a-Fun. What a toilet! If you are looking for similar cuisine you might enjoy Fremont St. (aka Downtown). There are plenty of "Cheap Eats" type kiosks all one after the other up and down the block.

Slots-of-Fun on the "Strip" right next to Circus,Circus has the foot long dogs for a buck. They are also really thick, like a bratwurst. Very tasty! Enjoy.
