i'm not talking about games that save with a memory card

the best example i could give is tactics ogre for the gameboy advance. the first batch release of this game had a battery inside to facilitate saving. apparently, there was a second batch that contains no battery that i could see, but still saves. how? both chips looked exactly the same, with the exception of the round battery.

Help me buy one for my daughter for Christmas, I have tried everywhere and they are all sold out!! Could you suggest anywhere? Maybe a website shop? Tried Argos, Woolworths, catalogues, Toys R us, Tesco, Asda, Currys, Dixons, really worrying now! I had one on order, which I ordered 25th Oct from a catalogue and they promised 8th Dec delivery just recieved letter saying they cant deliver till 25th Feb 2007, no good to me!! Do you find it hard to stop buying your kids for xmas?
the price of some stuff nowdays is wild my son wants a xbox 360 and 3 games so thats coming at about £340 which is more than enough money yet what a pathetic pile that is so of course you need a few more items to make it look better does anyone understand what im on about !!!
every year on christmas eve even if ive spent a small fortune its a tiddly pile arghhh.

Shouldn't the Nintendo DS Lite already come with everything you need? Do you really need this starter kit that costs $15 additional dollars? Also, are the Nintendo DS games interchangeable for use with the Nintendo DS Lite?

I got a PS2 and a PS1, one memory card, 3 scratch games, 5 good controls, I am not really sure if the playstations work correctly, sometimes reads dvds sometimes they dont.

I got so frustrated in my failed attempts to get a PS3 at retail price. I've camped on launch day, i've also called many #'s and gone store to store with no luck.
So last night I was on ebay and I thought i'd just take a crack at trying to get one for $800. So i bid on an auction and ended up winning it. Insured shipping was included in the $800 and this is the 60gb version. You guys think this was a good deal? Cuz i figure with tax in NY, the ps3 would come out to $650, so I guess i'm paying $150 more. Who knows, if the prices go up, I may just sell it on ebay again.

My friend did this on his PSP and I was wondering if I can do it on my DS. I know I'll need some time of cord to connect the DS to the computer, most likely USB. But where can I buy them, and I have never ever seen them before, if they even make them at all.
My friend got Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Brother, Mario Kart, Majora's Mask, and many more. If I can't do this on the DS, I'll possibly buy a PSP...
