My 9 year old grandson has a "hand held" electronic game that he absolutely loves. He originally used a Gameboy that he recently "handed down" to his 5 year old sister when he "graduated" to the other game.

When I ask him what it's called he just says "DS". What does this mean?

I want to buy him some additional DS games for christmas so I need to understand what to ask for.

Could you please help me understand the difference between Gameboy and DS?

My daughter (his mother) said you can play Gameboy games on the DS or vice versa.......if I heard her right. Is this correct?

Help me please so I can get him something he really wants for Christmas. Thank you in advance.

it has been acting weird, for example, on star wars battlefront 2 the character moves by its self, they move slower and i cant sprint. also it on the menu it starts moving by itself too. And in the internet browser the arrow moves and moves slower when i move it up and left. I tried taking the battery out as it said omnthe playstation website said, but it did not work. How can i fix it?

I bought surround sound for my tv and its really loud. Its pretty sweet. The problem is that I have a headset ( it cost me 59.99 to buy so I don't want it to mess up) and was wondering if the intense volume could mess up the mic in any way.

When my child was born a few good gaming systems were on the market. Nintendo 64 was one of them. I'm thinking by the time she was in school they had the monochrome handheld gameboy system that she wanted, but I refused to buy thinking who wants to play a game in black and white? I'm betting by the time my child has children that the gaming systems will be as many different ones on the market, and you will have to go shop for them like you do a computer at Best Buy. It will be an even bigger investment than now. I bet they will come with their own detachable screens, and have a charger so you can take them places with you anywhere, like the mall, college, on a plane.
