When my child was born a few good gaming systems were on the market. Nintendo 64 was one of them. I'm thinking by the time she was in school they had the monochrome handheld gameboy system that she wanted, but I refused to buy thinking who wants to play a game in black and white? I'm betting by the time my child has children that the gaming systems will be as many different ones on the market, and you will have to go shop for them like you do a computer at Best Buy. It will be an even bigger investment than now. I bet they will come with their own detachable screens, and have a charger so you can take them places with you anywhere, like the mall, college, on a plane. The kids of tomorrow will laugh at the x-box, Wii, and PS3 in 20 years. Just like we laugh at the Pong Game, and Atari Commodore of the 1970's. These are name brand top of the line now, but we will be laughing and making fun of them in 20 years, or less the way things are going no

Definitely they will go virtual reality. You'll wear a helmet or glasses that have a screen for each eye, so things will be in 3D, and you'll perhaps wear gloves or hold a gun or controller that senses where you are pointing it. In the VR, you'll see your arm and gun move around, and whatever you are aiming at.

If it's a race game, you see a steering wheel and depending on how you move your hands, the wheel will move.

One of my customers stated that the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 are the Last generation....the only things that will change is the games....there will be updates/upgrades in the peripheral department (add ons/joysticks etc) but that's where the changes will occur....

Yeah.....somebody will come up with a great idea. But not some STUPID idea like a sphere with SmellyVision!! Geez!

They'd more than likely develop a Visor or Helmet add-on that allows 3-D / Virtual Reality Games to be played on their Product line.....

It would cost $300 to $500...Come out JUST before Christmas 2010 and there would be 7 NEW games developed for the
"V3-D" add-on....

The demand would outstrip the supply for about 3 months....

My opinion is the PlayStation 3. If you look around this site you will see questions about a few Xbox 360 problems. It gets a lot worse. There was a news programme about some guy that went through four Xbox 360s and spent over $1,000.00 on games. All of his systems broke down after just a few days of first playing. There is also stories of the Red Ring of Death. This is a red ring that surrounds the power button and when it gets fully around, your system shuts down. PlayStations are better anyway. They have better games, smoother controlling and even though it's almost double the price of the 360, it's worth the quality. Sometimes you need to pay to get better. This is a case just like this. But, of course, you could always go with the Nintendo Wii.

There will be a sphere shaped monitor in which you can stick your head; for more virtual experience.
In the future you experience things like wind, some little pain, smell and temperature in realtime.
