xbox 360 headset?

I bought surround sound for my tv and its really loud. Its pretty sweet. The problem is that I have a headset ( it cost me 59.99 to buy so I don't want it to mess up) and was wondering if the intense volume could mess up the mic in any way.

No it won't it will only mess you your ears. To solve problem turn down your volume thats it!

they 360 headset has a seperate volume control on it
