NO. DS games CANNOT be used in the Gameboy Advance, BUT the Gameboy Advance games CAN be used in the DS. Technology is backward compatible but not forward.
Also if there are any of the old gameboy color games in the collection, they CANNOT be used in the DS.

the only campatible games with the DS are DS games and Gameboy Advance games, the old gameboy games don't work with it, and no the DS games don't work on a Gameboy Advance system.

ok you my friend are very confused it is the GBA games that are compatible with the ds not ds games on a gba. the reason is the gba has one huge slot for gba games and the ds has that slot on the bottom and the slot on top which is for the nintendo ds games.
