I have a Sony Ericsson 700i and its a triband. I am under T-Mobile USA and am planning to get another carrier called Globe, from the Philippines, and its a prepaid. I can't find my old phone so I am wondering if it is possible for me to use the two sim cards alternatively like I would put the t-mobile during the day here in the US since it is night in the philippines then the globe sim card at night because it is day over there. What problems would I run through? Complications to the phone and the data? Thanks a bunch.

I did search here about this but couldn't find the answer I want. I read about the dual sim card device though.

I mean I have a 3G phone and if someone sends me an email, regardless of whether it came from PC, another cell phone or some other device (blackberr etc), the cell phone buzzes , flashes and whistles as a notification.

Do all 3G phones support email this way ? (I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT SMS, OR Web browsing)

I have a prepaid T-mobile cell phone, and sometimes when I send text messegaes a plus sign (+) will be in front of the phone number. What does that plus sign mean...I always thought that meant an international call...Is t-mobile trying to rip me off by putting that + to make me pay more?

anyone else disappointed, slightly?
I thought the design was so great. and Even the price was... alright
but CINGULAR ONLY??? What the hell was apple thinking?? Cingular only???

I think I'm going to wait for 2nd generation anyways (even if it was't cingular only) since the 1st generation products that apple makes is usually buggy and incomplete (obviously). Hopefully 2nd gen will have an unlocked phone and some improved features.

My cell phone is pretty old (about 5 years) and I get pretty poor reception in a lot of areas. Could this be because the phone is so old or is it soley the phone company and where the towers are located?
