I have a Sony Ericsson 700i and its a triband. I am under T-Mobile USA and am planning to get another carrier called Globe, from the Philippines, and its a prepaid. I can't find my old phone so I am wondering if it is possible for me to use the two sim cards alternatively like I would put the t-mobile during the day here in the US since it is night in the philippines then the globe sim card at night because it is day over there. What problems would I run through? Complications to the phone and the data? Thanks a bunch.

I did search here about this but couldn't find the answer I want. I read about the dual sim card device though.

You can get what you're looking for off ebay. I got one. You turn it off & then back on to change the sim card, however I found that I'd forget what one was activated and ended up using the wrong one. It ended up costing me way too much because I was talking away and thinking it was a free call when it wasn't. If you get one, just be careful of that. They're a good idea though! You could either get one where it was mounted in the back cover of the phone, or a generic one that plugged into the sim card holder & just sat loose into the back cover of the phone.

sure just make sure you unlock the phone(its easier through the phone company,, but you can get an unlock code over the inter net too its really easy and cheap.). after you unlock it, you can swap whatever sim card you however you want it. its a really simple process.
