anyone else disappointed, slightly?
I thought the design was so great. and Even the price was... alright
but CINGULAR ONLY??? What the hell was apple thinking?? Cingular only???
I think I'm going to wait for 2nd generation anyways (even if it was't cingular only) since the 1st generation products that apple makes is usually buggy and incomplete (obviously). Hopefully 2nd gen will have an unlocked phone and some improved features.

I agree. Who wants to pay $500 for a phone? Then, on top of that, Apple forgets to trademark the name "iphone". They are getting sued by Cisco because Cisco trademark "iphone" in 2000. They went wrong in so many different ways on this phone. If it was $300, then it might be a worthwhile product to buy.
