When I go under a tunnel in a train for example, my phone seems to have no reception whatsoever, and I therefore wouldn't have a chance of getting through to anyone. Yet, on the screen it reads "Emergency calls only". So my question is how is it possible to get through to emergency services but noone else?

I'm going to be switching cell phone services soon and need advice. I have Verizon but plan on switching to Tmobile or Cingular. I was wondering if I bought an unlocked gsm phone, could I use it here in the US and then buy a prepaid sim card in italy and just switch cards?

I don't believe cingular's claim of fewest dropped calls is true. Alltel is my network, and I got 2-5 calls dropped per month in '06.
A close friend of mine gets 5 or more per DAY with cingular. I've never heard a verizon customer complain at all. What is your opinion?

I just got one today and i am really disappointed!! it is Obviously older and more worn than the one i returned..the one i had was only about 6 months old and looked brand new...unfortunately i also had nothing but problems with it.I didn't realize they send you USED phones back.......has this happened to any of you??

There was suppose to be a phone coming out that helps you prevent drunk dialing.....meaning it'll prevent you from calling your ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend when your drunk.....somehow the phone knows when your drunk and prevent you from well DRUNK DIALING.....and ......other sort of things 2 but i can't remember it neither the company that was producing it.....??Any1 ever hear about it lately, becuase some people could use it.....:-P
