How do I change the color and decoration of an link only for one DIV on my webpage? I know that if I put

:link {color: white;}
:visited {color: white;}

then my whole document will have just white links. But how do I do this for just one DIV? I'm trying to get my menu buttons to be white, and links within the document to be normal. Thank you!

I just don't know what to make it about. I want it to turn a profit eventually and just don't know what i should do it about. I like sports mainly football. I like video games mostly football games but also halo 3 and i watch more tv and movies than most people. I just want something good in general. Any suggestions would be great! THANKS!

I bought a domain (WHICH I CANNOT CHANGE) on bravehost.net for a year. I'm currently pissed at how bravehost places ads on the site so the layout looks crappy.

I want to use GoDaddy- does it place ads on the sites? Anyways, after the domain expires, I want to buy the domain off of GoDaddy. Would this be possible? And does GoDaddy let me upload pages via FTP?

Please help me!

This year I've decided to take an HTML class, but I'm having trouble with one of the assignments... I need to make a linked style sheet, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm using TextWrangler and I set up the CSS sheet using the format ".CSS"... So that isn't the problem. Any advice? Thanks!!

My 22 month old knows how to operate the mouse....to go to a specific object, then click.

Is there any way I can disable the mouse easily (can't unplug it., sorry).

Also, are there any programs that teach toddlers how to use computers? I am 100% for teaching her to be computer literate, but don't want to get that vsmile thing....I want her to get acquainted with the basics of a regular computer, but I want to be able to disable the mouse when I DON'T want her to mess with it.

Anyone know a PHP function that allows you to count characters in a text box?

I'd like to let users, who register on my website, know if the password or username they are trying to register is longer than, oh, say 8 characters.

I can't seem to find any function for this. I guess it would have to count the amount of characters within a variable.

I was curious if anyone knew how to convert an autoCAD drawing (.dwg file) to a .pdf file, but in landscape orientation. I use a progam called Brava Desktop 2.0 for converting, but it only converts to .pdf in portrait orientation. Any help would be great, thanks guys.

I designed web pages using photoshop, and i linked them using dreamweaver mx 2004, i got a new free host and went to file manager and uploaded the html pages, the images folder and the songs folder. but when i enter the website the page shows a page with an unshown picture, u can check it out: www.mamounalakhras.8m.com.
