I have error pages. My whole site is down. I use WordPress as my index, and I could not write a sitemap with a sitemap plugin.

Thinking the public html directory was not writable, I change it, and now everything under it changed.

I can't find what the permission settings should be for wordpress files/folders nor what my standard site permissions should be.

any help...

Using Javascript, how do I grab a certain portion of HTML (from part of a page) from within one frame to be used as a value for a variable in another frame?

It might be hard to understand, sorry. Here's a better picture, I hope:

This is a Javascript-based tool I am currently working on. I have a window with 2 frames. In the 1st frame, there is a series of buttons and text fields. Each button performs a different function that returns a certain site with information and displays it onto the 2nd frame. I would like to copy some information from the HTML that is being displayed on the 2nd frame, so that it is can be used as a variable on the 1st frame.

Any ideas to get me started? Thx!! =D

I've created an ASP page with forms, but I intend to
display the full name the user uses to log into Windows
(For example: "John Tan", not the username: "johntan") through a server and the email
address attached to the account (For example:
john@email.com). Is it possible?

If I'm not wrong, for usernames would be using
request.ServerVariables("remote_user"). But what about
for retrieving of full name and email address?

Hope you can understand what I'm trying to ask. Any
help is much appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I need some help i have 3 computers in my house one of them is very old and i want to use it to make an ftp server i have tryed a few bits of softwere but when i type in my IP adress it comes up with my router config page i own a belkin router does any one know how i can make it so that when some one tyoes in my IP adress it is possable for it to go thought to my ftp server and not my configuartion page. Also if you know some good softwere which is free and helps with making and managing an ftp server i would really like it.

i am developing a dictionary that converts from english language to amharic language.i am using vb.net.Then i create a table with three fields that are id ,english and amharic .
the i want to store more than 13,000 english and their crosponding meaning in amharic. i think the number of pages may be so large. so do you have any comment or hint about this?
what mechanism should i use to reduce the number of pages as much as possible?
