I don't talk about copying sites,content and information...
I mean to take the idea and to make it in a different language, new content and new design...
For Example: designing a site with the same idea as yahoo answers in another language(which is not already made by yahoo)

I have designed a Visual Basic Program with DOS billing facility. (On Print Button click, executes a batch file to print the notepad file) Working Fine! But...

On printing a page, the printer has to reset the paper back to exact position to print next page. (after tearing off the first paper by user). There is a button in the printer to do this. Which command can do this by VB Code?

If code can do this, client feels it user friendly to print pages without pressing the printer button each time to reset the paper back.

Client is using Epson Dot Matrix (LX-300+)

Awaiting for your valuable suggestions

I am working on my site and I want the header image to be smaller than originally was (250px) so I make it 200px high:

From style_screen.css:
.img-header {clear: both; float: left; width: 770px; height: 200px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;}

Unfortunately this stops the navigation bar just below it from working in firefox but it works in IE. Here is the code from the nav bar:
.nav2 {margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: verdana, arial, sans serif; font-size: 1.0em;}
.nav2 ul {float: left; width: 770px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border-top: solid 1px rgb(54,83,151); border-bottom: solid 1px
.nav2 li {display: inline; list-style: none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;}
.nav2 li a {display: block; float: left; margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 5px 10px 5px 10px; border-right: solid 1px
.nav2 a:hover, .nav2 a.selec
.buffer {clear: both; width: 770px; height: 30px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background-color: rgb(255,255,255);}

I had to cut off some of the code. Please help! Thanks!

I'm managing a private board and I'm beginning to see some overlap in providing content and allowing users to share information. I'm trying to decide if it's time to move to a CMS. I'm deciding on migration paths, or are there minor differences.

you know, in default google homepage, after you input keywords you can hit web,images,video,news,maps,books,froogle or groups. it will bring you to the corresponding search results page. but you can't hit yahoo search or youtube in this page. so can we create only one input box and many searchable items that you can search many items only inputting keywords once.
but i don't like checkbox.
