M.Sc IT and M.Sc Computer science does have scope in the IT industry..there are a lot of people joining the company i work with M.Sc degrees in IT or computer science...but what I have sen about thier resumes is that they also had certifications in specific domains. The most favored certification was Oracle certified professional ,other preferred certifications were sun microsystems java certifications. .NET and linux administration .I am guessing you are a fresher out of college so I would recommend working on one certification well.If possible you can also go for training in testing tools and unix which have a lot of demand nowdays

Most places today are looking for industry certification, such as A+ for hardware, MCSE (and related Microsoft certifications) for desktop and server, CISCO for Networking. You can learn the information from any school or course, but you have to pass the certification test to get the jobs. Make sure the courses you are taking are geared towards helping you pass the test.

i would suggest which ever stream you choose , you need be goot at the specific streams like Hardware / software / networking , on the ongoing course you would feel that you like one of the subject / topic and you develop interest in that .

make sure to select any one of the stream and start developing expertise in that and also please be sure that if you have good percentage well and good or else go ahead for a course. ( niit / any other institute)
