There are performance issues, particularly when one converts into a queen. The interface slows down significantly. This also happens when a one hovers over a piece that has a lot of possible squares to move, and Yahoo! Chess's interface highlights those squares. It's enough to affect a lightning game easy, and a LOT of people play lightning.

Yahoo! should go back to the lightweight chess interface.

I had some problems that made me reformat my disk with fdisk. The file vmm32.vxd came up and would not go away it said it was missing or corrupted. Anyways I had did a system restore previously. It did not restore. Im also looking for a good linux system that I can use because Im a newbie at this. My computer will not go to safe mode or the desktop. So I need serious help. Which Linux would you suggest and I would hate to spend any money right now or buy a new computer its very sentamental to me. I also have to say that my Windows me did not come with a recovery emergency cd it came with a recovery disk. It is a Windows me Oem.

hiya, how can i secure my phtos over the intenet so no1 can copy them, i have created a website and want to make sure my pictures are not copyied and used else where, some1 told me to but ya logo over the pic then save it but i also been told this method dont work as people can remove the logo without the pic getting messed. i have paintshop pro 10 i have watermaked the pic but that no good, any other iders....

I currently have Windows Media Player 10 and the smallest it can rip a track from a CD into an mp3 is 128 kps, which makes an average track about 5 - 6 MB. I'd like to get that smaller, if possible, as I'd like to run some mp3s on my website and not blow all of my disk space.

I want to sort a set of objects in a array according to particular characteristic in each object. Like the object in array[0] name is "billy" and the object in array[1] name is "Adam" I want the object with the name = adam to be sorted so it is placed first in the array, you know like alphabetically. Now if I were doign this in C++ I could just like over-load a operator and compare those two things between objects and switch them around using a bubble sort or something. But it doesn't seem like you can over-load a operator in java, which kinda sucks, how would I do this whole "sorting of objects" if you will in java?

When j>2, aj becames NaN(not a number).
How can I avoid this problem and calculate aj correctly?

I installed 2 programs, apparently over other programs, and now having very difficult time retrieving files or notes from original programs. They being Office 2003 and Yahoo IM with Beta. Word Perfect was original program and somewhere buried is notes to a book so really want to locate. Also, the original Yahoo IM had text notes that may be very useful, not to mention my private motivations for locating and saving. Can someone help? I am a novice so forgive if I may not even be able to ask "educated question" i.e.,"programs", "files" etc. Have spent better part of 3 weeks trying to locate and now surrender, really need help. Thanks.

we normally selecting desktop backgroud pictures, properties>desktop> background window or browse. can we delete pictures from background window. i tried by pressing delete button. i posted this question few minutes back. i rcvd some answers. it all simply property>desktop> change, like answers.

I'm setting up a web site for my own use, and I'll admit that I'm quite new to HTML but I'm trying set up a couple of lines of text so that they'll always display at the bottom of my left-hand frame, no matter what screen size people use or how much other text there is in the frame.

I only want to use it in one page so I'd rather not use PHP or another scripting language, and I don't care if it overlaps other text (because there'll never be enough text for it to matter). Can anyone tell me how to format it in CSS so that it will always be at the bottom?
