Hi,

I have a website (www.mp4meonline.com) that has been designed using tables and some layers in Dreamweaver. We used a CSS on which to base the site and have used some layers to improve the look of the site.
We still have a few issues to fix but we are having a porblem with layers.

When people few the page using different screen resolutions the layers appear in different positions depending on the resolution used to view the site. This is obviously a big problem and I would be very grateful for any advice on this issue?

Is there away that I can set the positition of the layers so they stay where I want them no matter how they are viewed?
I do not want to have to remove the layers and use only tables as the layers add a lot to the site.

Dont they realize it makes them look stupid, and the reason for this forum is for people to get accurate answers that answer thier questions , not some moron saying um i dont know, or false info.Why do they do this just to get 2 points when these points are absolutely worthess? Are they really just dumb as a post?

I am not giving you guys viruses
1) Look at my answers and questions, i like Yahoo, and would not screw that up
2) Look at the size of the file, this is a simple program
3) I dont even know how to make a virus

My partner at work is OLD SCHOOL, seriously. He seems to think that it is a good idea to build our ASP.Net(VB) applications using HUGE stored procedures. I am talking practically NO application logic in the OOP enviornment that .Net provides. Incidentally, the application we are working on is BLAZINGLY slow, and we can't seem to isolate the pronblem. I am thinking that it is either the stored procedures, or the fact that he uses 7 databases for a single application. Like most old timers, I can't seem to convince him of my position. I haven't found any concrete evidence that I am correct, but I am about to begin the research in earnest. What do you think, am I on the right track, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
