I have a html file with some fields and "Save" button. by pressing "Save" button the data in the form should be saved in access database. Is there any way to to do this only using html, java/vb script and without using any server(IIS/PWS) or asp?

Without any server code, this can be done only by creating data access pages - using wizards available with Microsoft Front Page or Microsoft Access 2003 version.

You may use the access query tool "Access Query Analyzer" at http://www.download5000.com/page25775.aspx , its'screenshot is http://www.download5000.com/screenshot25775.aspx , it allows you to visually build complete SQL scripts.
