Internet - February 2007

I asked a question yesterday but i can't add to it cuz of the problem. Well like i said in the other question. When i try to open my security center or system restore or the search in the start menu the windows pop up but there is just a blank screen. And on websites i can click on links but they don't work. (Like on myspace i can only see the first pages of bulletins and friends cuz the links don't work). When i mouse over a link though it says something about JAVASCRIPT instead of the webpage link. O and the download links on security sites aren't there cuz of the problem so i can't download any type of new software.

Since u don't have to approve someone adding u to their buddies on AIM, i was curious if u could find out whose buddylist u are on. I already know about how if someone is not on your buddy list and im's u, it asks u if u want to receive the im. I just want to know how to figure out whose buddy list u are on.

i am looking to subscribe with a new internet company. right now i have dial up internet and it is supplied by my company. i want a new internet service but i dont want to pay a fortune. i was looking at the netzero high speed internet because it was the cheapest i could find. should i go with netzero or should i just pay the load of money for broadband?

Is there a program or something i can download that lets you communicate with someone that has a cell phone ..so they would get a text on their phone but i would be on the computer. I think yahoo messenger had it because my friend used to text me from her computer but i cant find it and dont know what to look for..so anyone have ideas?? Thx!

When I do A search on google , yahoo or whatever.. The results are fine till i click on one. Once i do that i can see a site pop up for a second, then redirect to what appears to be another search site full of sponsored link related to my original keyword.

I've been getting "anonymous" e-mails from someone. I say anonymous because they use a fake name. I even tried looking them up on MySpace (because everyone has a MYSpace account) but have had no success in finding out who they are. I've been corresponding with this person for over a month, trying to figure out who they are and still have found no clues as to who they are. The reason why I am so adament about finding out who this person is, is because they are writing to me hurtful things and are making malicious aligations against my husband (which by the way I don't believe). They seem to know alot about myself, him and my daughter.... so I know that it's someone who knows us. How can I find out who this mystery person is?

AOL have got rid of singingfish now, even the direct address doesn't work now.
Does anybody no any other similar sites? Please do not reccomend Limewire, I have had to many virus's stopped by my anti-virus on it.

I would love to know another site, where I can listen to music, without having to download software for it

I have been scammed by someone named phones2cell but goes under new name called hand phones limited. I am sure their is allot of different names too. On Google they have multiple email address to and spammed all of the message boards. Their website is phones2cell.i8.com and their blog is phones2cell.blogspot.com/

Is it ok to email them and say if they don't refund my money I will report you? Am I allowed to say stuff like that as long as it is in a nice way? They scammed me over $500.00 USD
