I think I did this website in two weeks. You need to know basic HTML codes and CSS. Also, it's for free, but if you pay, it will be advertised in search engines.
You can go here for a guide. It helped me a lot! You'll know how to build a website in a week.

Websites seem fairly difficult when just starting but once you get the hang of it they are pretty easy! The best place to go for first timers is geocities.

well there is the obvious hard way to do it with coding....but somethin tells me thats not what you want....anyway there is a website you can go to that makes it very easy...and best of all its free

go to google.com then type how do i make a website then click on a link. but ya kno, to make one you have to pay $. at least to the ones that i have been to

go to xanga.com and it lets u design and create a website all about u that u can pick the name and everything. its really awesome.
