Internet - January 2007

There is no option to unsubscribe and they are now even creeping into my inbox. I get between 30 and 75 per day. How can I stop this??? Please help

We own and use a domain name for our website and company email ( it's a .com) and yet have found a small company in America is using the EXACT same domain name for their company emails - this is shown on their website and we have phoned them to check their email addresses also. How technically can this happen and can they legally do this? Any advice would be appreciated. Our domain registration company (uk2.net) says they are allowed to do this?!

i'v got a mail back to my question but still i cant loge to the site of hi5, mybe if some body can send me a proxy to change my sitting ,by the way i live in uae-dubai.and it's not easy there to loge for so many web couze it's blocked by them.but if there is any proxy i could loge that time. and thanx for the people who tryed to help me befor,and if they can help me now it will be great.

I have the newest version on Avant Browser, 11 build 43, but it uses internet explorer as its browser, which is its default, and anyone who has avant browser should know what i'm talking about, and I wanted to know how to instead use the newest version of mozilla firefox as the browser for avant?

Do I profit from the number of visitors if I have just put up a personal website, say for blogging? If Yes, what benefit?
If No, then why are there so many sites on web that seems to just lure you into clicking on their weblink for no real reason?
There was even a website attracting people for 'Click on links and get paid'.

Where do they recover the maintenance and development costs from? It applies to all sites like Yahoo, MSN, Gmail, YouTube, MySpace, etc. What is their business model? How can they afford to provide free webspace to anyone who cares to register?

If I have an HTML file on my hard disk, it can access images on my hard disk, but an online site, which uses a skin on my hard disk, can't access images. I know the site's code is correct, as I did view source & saved it to disk, and it worked, so it's some security feature of IE7. It worked perfectly in IE6, so it's something particular to IE7, but how do I turn it off.
Please DO NOT answer telling me I should switch browser, it's not helpful.

I have a home network and the site was blocked on only one computer. I copied the favorites from that computer to the other, now I cannot get on www.bestbuy.com. I dumped all of the cookies and temp files still nothing.
