If I have an HTML file on my hard disk, it can access images on my hard disk, but an online site, which uses a skin on my hard disk, can't access images. I know the site's code is correct, as I did view source & saved it to disk, and it worked, so it's some security feature of IE7. It worked perfectly in IE6, so it's something particular to IE7, but how do I turn it off.
Please DO NOT answer telling me I should switch browser, it's not helpful.
If you have any questions, please message me before answering.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "skin" on hard drive, but if you think it is a security issue, try adding the website to your exception firewall list.
