This is the second time my bookmarks have just disappeared! I have over 25 sites I bookmarked and I have to do it again. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Because if you just press enter, it doesn't work. I forgot what you had to do in order to put a space between things. Help appreciated.

Everyone says to just remove it from my programs and it will revert back to six after I restart the computer. Is this for sure? If, somehow it doesn't revert, can I download six safely from Microsoft's website?

i am a bsnl broadband user with a 256kbps plan.I feel the usage limit of 400 is not enough.Now is there anyway i can use the broadband for free without the usage limit falling under my account.I mean something like hacking.....

I'm trying to design a calendar online using my own photos that the site will then print and post to me. Every time I try to upload something, it says I have to enable cookies first. I've followed all the instructions in my internet options and enabled all cookies - but am still getting the same message. Any suggestions gratefully received!

I recently changed internet service providers from Orange to TalkTalk and since I have changed I can't pay for things through paypal, log into my bank or sometimes I can get to the "my account" page or "Check out" page on some websites and then the next day I can't. I am definately don't blocking any of these pages and I have not changed any internet settings. When I spoke to TalkTalk they put me through to someone who remotely controlled my computer and he made paypal work for one day??? Then the next day the same problems, please someone help me.

I keep getting these strange emails (almost daily) that appear to contain part of some strange storyline? The content varies so i'm not even sure they are all about the same theme.

Does anyone know what this it's all about?

Here is a sample.

My daughter's computer is brand new. (about 3 months old) She has never had a problem, til now. The computer has always loaded really, really, quickly. When she clicks on something, it comes up in two seconds flat. For the past week, it takes like 10 minutes for her homepage to come up!! It is really really slow now???? Than when her home page comes up it takes another 10 minutes to access her email!! What could it be, what can I do to stop or help it??? Please help, I am not too great with comuters!! Thank you so much!!

My parents and i live four miles apart. There connection speed is 28.8 kbps, mine is only 26.4 and it makes a huge difference in page down load time. Why is this and how can I get mine up to where his is. He has an old lap top I have a new computer? Are there ways to increase dial up connection speed? Will changing service providers increase this?
