I want to know whats a Torrent ? I heard something called "BitTorrent ". Pls explain clearly......and why do i need it ?

Swarm - A group of computers simultaneously sending (uploading) or receiving (downloading) the same file
.torrent - A pointer file that directs your computer to the file you want to download
Tracker - A server that manages the BitTorrent file-transfer process

A torrent file is a small file that you download to start a much larger download on a program such as UTorrent which can be found at www.utorrent.com. This can be much more useful than direct downloading from programs such as LimeWire because you can download albums in one download without having to download each track separately. The website I find most useful for finding the torrents is www.isohunt.com because it searches all of the other torrent sites for the best results. Good luck :)

from programms like uTorrent ,Bit Comet
BitTorrent is a website that you can download this files.
You will need this if you want for example to download a full game or a music album.Books and other things.

BItTorrent is a peer to peer platform that is used a lot by warez distributors. it uses a tracker that is on a server to list the seeders and downloaders. To download files using a .torrent file you can use utorrent. it is the best bittorrent app.
