Internet - September 2006

When I enter my word in the search box eg "apple" all other previous searches Ive done beginning with "a" appear in a drop down menu as soon as i enter the letter "a". How do I clear my previous searches or stop this from happening again?

I watched Dr Phil the other night and it was very interesting..about these people in Nigeria and other areas who are making money off innocent women. About a month ago I got an IM on yahoo and started chatting with this man, his name was man_here2 (BEWARE if you know him)....he kept trying to get romantic and I told him I was uncomfortable with it and he just kept it up. I usually blocked him but was on a few times and chatted. He said he lived in New York. He said he was on business in Ghana (I found out this is in Africa and in the area where they are doing this) and then started asking me to "loan" him $5000 to get home. Once he said it was ONLY 5k so why was I so upset? I told him I didn't have it anyway, nor would I be so stupid. I've searched and found him on singles sites, and he has different pictures, lives different areas, etc. Has this happened to you?

On the main page of my website I put Meta Tags (Description & Keywords)
I am thinking about adding the tags to all the pages in my site...my question is should I include both description & keyword tags on all the pages as well? Or just the keywords?

Specially with getting bold enough to Instant Message strangers,and speaking out in chat rooms.Or,better yet really "Speaking Out" in sights like paltalk. I am introduced to a whole 'nother side of the World Wide Web....called IRC....It seems like another world. Any thoughts on this? And how long did it take you to master it?

I am living in a country who is blocking most internet sites like sex, medical and news sites, we were using a program called Propel but now it also blocked. I wonder if you have a new program could solve our problem! Thanks

Once I've run out of RAM and my computer will no longer open any new windows or save URLs in my "Favorites," I have to reboot and will then get about another 30-40 minutes of surfing before having to reboot again. Have never experienced a similar problem, although I've been surfing for several years. My system = Sony "Digital Studio PC," w/: 2.20 GHz Pentium 4, 1 GB DDR, 800+ GB HD, Windows XT Home. I fully updated my virus/spyware/adware software (PC Tools "Spyware Doctor") databases and ran full system scans--no help.
