Internet - September 2006

Today I have have purchaged a new Wipro 56K Internal Fax Modem & fixed up it well. Now When I try to connect my dialer says that "Phone Line is Busy". Though Phone Line is inserted in Jack perfectly. I have tryed many times Uninstallation & Installation. But I could not find the solution. Would you help me please.

Well first you sign in, then you go to the top to where it says Tools then mail and news,click on it then go to read mail.

Problem. I have to use an old Toshiba laptop with an early version of XP with service pak 1. When I downloaded and installed service pak 2 it refuses to open windows. To add to my woes, somehow all my restore points are wiped out. I booted in Safe mode but my internection connection wont work. So I manually removed all the secuity updates through control panel. Now I can get windows to run, and connect to the internet.
So you may ask why did I try to update? I have these pop ups that say the are "messenger service" and that I have serious registry errors and that I needed to go to a specic site and download their registry cleaner etc. etc. I realize I have serious security issues if these buggers are popping up and I have a pop up blocker installed. (Google) Unfortunately, I am using AVAST which I just read is the worst antivirus rated by PC Magazinne, HELP

In frustration I tried to reformat using the disc that came with the cumputer and it won't do diddly when I do.

I have to resize my images into 300DPI with a size of 9.MB. I have got sizes of originally 1704x2272. I have no idea what numbers I need to be entering and I need it now now now!

I have google toolbar on my works pc - I just realised everything I have ever googled, either on the toolbar or through the google webpage, is stored on here. I frequently clear history and delete files and cookies through tools/options and assumed I was clearing down everything.

Can someone please explain how I get rid of my searches??

I've tried the help icon and it says this:-
1.Click the MAIL tab.
2.Click NEW.
3.Click Attach,and then click PICTURES on the menu.
4.Using the MSN Photo Upload Tool, locate the folder that contains your images and select the pictures you want to attach,and then click ATTACH FILES.

Then it goes on to say "If you Download the MSN Photo Upload Tool,you can preview and edit your pictures before you attach them to your message.

I'm using IE 7, and Mozzilla Firefox.(Not at the same time((DUH!!)),Still lost).

Anyway,where the hell(how) do I find this MSN Photo Upload Tool ??????.

An attachment to #.3. It doesn't ask for pictures,it asks to open/search files/folders.

For example, @ yahoo scroll to the bottom u see copyright 2006. What does the year stand for? Why do some sites show copyright 2002? Does it mean when the site was last updated or what?

I mean, you ask a simple, sensible question for which you LOSE points, the a bunch of teenage-know-nothings post answers like "Im sorry I have no idea", or "why do you want to know", or even just "Yes" or "no" when clearly a yes or no answer isnt appropriate. They obviously do this to boost their points, but why are people penalised for a good questions, but rewarded for stupid, unhelpful, non-answers?

I don't remember how I got this or where it came from, but it's not in my computer "Add or Remove Programs", neither can I remove it!!! It's its own website that pops up like Internet Explorer, especially when I log on the Internet or when I'm searching. Can somebody help me remove this, it also brings popups like crazy!
