On myspace, you can look in your sent box and next to the subject line it reads "read" or "unread" by recipient. Is there a way to see if the person you sent an e-mail to through yahoo mail has read it yet without coming right out and asking them?

we have a desktop connected to a cable modem surfboard, which controls both the internet and cable tv. i just got a brand new laptop and i have no idea how to connect it to the internet. i don't care if i have to unplug the desktop from the internet to do it. the only cords given to me with the laptop are a USB port, which i don't know where to hook up. also, i was given two other dial up cords (i think) please help
