I didn't think it is possible to search for someone's yahoo id because of the security policy and the fact spammers could easily get a hold of millions of yahoo addresses. You are out of luck unless you go and ask the person for their id.

Edit: Ok i just found this website http://email.people.yahoo.com based on what the above user posted and i searched for my email address by using my name and could not find it. Maybe its easier to search if you are american as they have more specific searches available.
