upon booting, as soon as the desktop appears, i start clicking on icons and i often mess about, so it takes long to load each thing..does this matter for the performancen of the computer. even on the internet, i click on hyperlinks before the page is completely loaded. should i stop this?

i am writing to a file and want to enter a new line, for example:
FileWriter output = new FileWriter(FILE,true); //where FILE is my file

output.write("\n hello");

output.write("\n java");

output.close();

I want this to be on the file

:hello
:java

instead im getting
:hello[]java

in other words how do i omit writing the "\n" character and actually making a new line

please help thanxs :)

My computer was showing some error when i scanned it with the "REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE". to remove the error i need the registry key (or registry number) of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE. the registry key is available on the web but it is NOT free and is a bit expensive for a person like me! Can anyone tell me the registry key or the registry number of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE so that i can enable the software to delete the errors from my computer. the error removal is impossible without registering the software, and for that i need the registry key. or can anybody tell me the website that has the registry key of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE.Thankyou!

here's the scenario. i have an ati radeon 9600 witha dvi and dsub port. i've had my widescreen 17" hooked up the dvi for a while but tonight i hooked up my old 17" to the dsub in hopes of a dual monitor setup. what i ended up with was not quite was i expected.

i want to be able to play counterstrike (pc game) fullscreen on my widescren monitor then be able to interact on the 2nd screen while im waiting to play. however, when i click on somethin on the second screen, counterstrike minimizes on the first screen.

anyone know what i should do?

I even tried using the hard drive from my laptop( since they are both Dell's) yet it still reads no operating system installed. What could be the cause considering my hard drive is good as it is the one i am on now. Could it have anything to do with it at one time was part of a server network?
