Why is it that every time I watch a video on Windows Media Player, most of the time the screen goes green (not always, only while playing a video)?

Probably it's your video graphic card. Either it is not compatible or is not up to the standard of the video you are playing.

Or it could be your monitor's graphic refresh rate. Invest in a better monitor if you want to watch video on computer.

I had an old monitor. So whenever i play videos, the pictures either hang or goes very jerky.

Most common cause: Hardware problems
