upon booting, as soon as the desktop appears, i start clicking on icons and i often mess about, so it takes long to load each thing..does this matter for the performancen of the computer. even on the internet, i click on hyperlinks before the page is completely loaded. should i stop this?

It doesnt matter, it will take as long as it takes depending on how much memory you have installed, the more memory the smoother and faster things load

Nothing is wrong with it. Just when you're booting up you'll have to wait longer. When surfing nothing is wrong either.


You should only load programs you absolutely need on startup so it can be faster.

yea because i use to ust press the button to turn off beside click on shut down and turn off
