What is the manufacturer and model number of the diesel locomotives that pull the Great Southern Railway luxury express, "The Ghan?
The cabs are different, but other wise they look like General Electric locomotives used in North America.

My friend slept with a Ringling Brothers employee on a circus train in Texas years ago. Her fiancee heard this story through me flapping my lips and spent the day trying to find out how he could get a job driving the circus train. We were unsuccessful. We need to know how we can apply to be the conductor (or engineer, if that is the appropriate wording) of a circus train! Thanks!!!

I'm not looking for grumpy "because our trains are rubbish" answers. Ideally I'd like an engineer or some sort of detailed technical explanation as to why our trains are unable to run on tracks in certain weather conditions and why we experience so many signal failures on tubes, etc. Trains run well in all sorts of weather conditions in other countries, so what are we doing wrong and what's the solution?

But I found it!!!!

Its and annual card and cost me like £1,500.

I lost it about 2 months ago, when I went to get a new one, they kept screwing me about and said i had to go for an interview - I said I just wanted a replacement card, not a bloody job!

But anyways, I spend about £300 on train fares since I lost it.

Can i get a refund on all the tickets i purchased?

I live near a railroad track and it seems that they are blowing their whistles all the time day and night. IS this true that they run at the same frequency 24 hours a day 7 days a week?

Go Transit and CN seem to have great difficulty with frozen switches during the winter in Canada. Don't understand why there are more problems in recent years. Canada hasn't turned colder than it has in the past. Winter is not a new phenonema. And trains are not new methods of transportation.
