Americans are said to have set the highest standards for safety and quality for vehicles, and yet we still think they are relatively unreliabe. Several European car makers have tried to enter the US market, but could not keep up to standards. So, what are the cars like where you live?

They keep jacking up the price of gas and then the hybrid cars that are supposed to save us money are so high priced that you would lose all that you save on gas because of high car payments. And the beat goes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently saw a website that showed vegetable oil being used as diesel fuel. It will cost about $1.95 a gallon and you get the exact power, mileage everything with it also. You can also have a home filtration system and you can filter the oil yourself, and you can get the oil at some restuarant or something that is trying to get rid of used oil and it will be free most likely because the restuarant doesn't have to pay a fee to get the oil disposed of. I think this is a GENIUS IDEA and for sure if its available in my area im getting a diesel truck Immediately. What do you think of this?

Is it purly price that makes your mind up, or something else?
If it is price, are you happy to be taught by a part trained instructor, known as a PDI.( Prospective Driving Instructor), or pay more for a fully qualified instructor.(ADI).
Does anything else influence your decition?

I want to get one of those metal collapsable carts that a lot of elderly people use for groceries and stuff (like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Metal-Folding-White-Shopping-Laundry-Grocery-Cart-NEW_W0QQitemZ160018650262QQihZ006QQcategoryZ71483QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) but I have no idea where to get one.

I live in a dorm at my college, and there's a Giant about 2 blocks away, but 2 blocks is really far when I'm carrying soda or other heavy/bulky stuff (I'm not the world's strongest woman or anything), so silly as it might look, it will be soooo helpful and will save me a lot of trouble trying to lug everything back by myself because I hate bugging people for help or rides all the time.

I've already checked eBay and stuff, but they all charge outrageous shipping costs. Are there any stores I can go to and get it for like, $15-$20 (or less) and avoid shipping altogether? I've already checked stores and websites for places like K-Mart and Wal-Mart too and can't find it. Can anyone help?
