I think the age should be raised. Too many 15, 16, 17, 18 year olds driving around in carfuls of idiots getting into accidents and killing each other. Not to say adults don't do it also, but statistically that age group causes more deaths and injuries than any other.

If you required more of people to get driver's licenses, they would just drive without one like all the illegal aliens do.
How many times is a drunk caught driving with a suspended or revoked license? We could change the rules but not the people.

I don't know if that would help. If the goal is to get people to drive more carefully, we should take out the airbags and seatbelts and install giant steel spikes on the steering wheel and dashboard instead. That'll get folks' attention.

i think there should be much more strict tests. like in Alaska you can lose like 15 points out of 100 and get it. it should be A+ passes only, and i believe people need to graduate to bigger vehicles, but they dont get to decide for themself the people who got cut off by them on the road get to decide. that would be great. lots of young people get parents to buy them vehicles that they couldn't possibly have without em and get big trucks and suvs without first driving a Geo metro and almost getting killed by countless full size trucks. they are so careless it makes me want to go on a typing rampage.... oh
