i parked my car at the train station and forgot to pay - only realised 5 mins after getting on the train! i phoned the station but they said it was a different company that does fines so there was nothing they could do. I cam back and had a £25 fine!!! I'm a new driver - could i use this? any tips?! thanks:)

I heard this on TV a few times a few years ago. They said things like the fertilizer used to grow the corn, and the diesel in the tractors and the actually fermenting process itself used far more fossil fuels then the resulting Ethanol replaced. They said the entire thing was just a bondogle to help funnel tax money to Midwest farmers. This makes sense to me but is it true?

Me? First and foremost, I'd design a car that's affordable. As far as creature comforts? Every car that I designed would have A/C. Not only in the front, but A/C in the back and above! Plush deep bucket seats! The kind that feels like you're sitting in a lazy boy chair! Height adjustable seats! (For short people like myself. So I can reach the peddles of course.) Multiple CD player, MP3 player, Mega, Gigantic stereo system! Lot's of pockets to hide CD's in. Uncomplicated removable seats! (So when you're vaccuming your car, you can just pop those puppies out and throughly clean your car! :) What about you?

I am being offered the Auto Mate AM9 (2 way Auto Security/Remote Start System) but have nothing to compare it to. Is there anyone out there with user experience of this specific model? Can you tell me anything about it, please? Is it worth $599 (in the Northeast)? How much better is it than the factory-installed theft deterrent?

the reason for this question i had a cop interested in it and then after i refused to sell he had a buddy plant thing inside the car and waited for me to drive it when i got in the car i got pulled over for no apparrent resona nd charged with all kinds of things i got out the next day and the people who towed my car for the officer had already soldand auctions it off i didn't even have time to get it out and i was in jail a day in a half. it shouldn't have gone with out at leas until they saw i could not get it out or some thing.i was totally re done inside and outi had the leather seats redone and the tranmissin and engine rebuilti had paperwork for all of thisi also had a new a/c put in it waspearl white with chrome ground effects.the car was beautiful i really loved that car i figure it had to be worth a lot to be railroaded forit just in case you were wondering i beat all charges..

Oil price since april have averaged around 70 a barrel and a gallon of fuel averaged about 2.65 a gallon. Ok now oil is at 78 a barrel and fuel is at 3 a gallon. Now if my math is corects that is a 10% increase and would be an addional 27 cents. So gas should be 2.92 a gallon at a maximum.

Now there is addional costs to refine fuels. Most of which are a flat amount on a gallon of fuel and shouldn't raise with the price of crude. So fuel shouldn't go up 10%.

Ok here is where the question is:
$70 a barrel the cost of a gallon of crude is $1.28 and a gallon of fuel is $2.65 and has a difference of $1.37 for processing. At $78 a barrel the cost of a gallon of crude is $1.42 a gallon and is $3.00 a gallon of fuel with a difference of 1.58 for processing.

So why is there a 21 cent difference in the refining price? Shouldn't it be the same? Crude oil price only went up 14 cents per gallon. Shouldn't fuel of matched it and not raised above it? So shouldn't fuel should be at 2.79 a gallon

well, i had an ideia that could change the way people drive forever, but i need to make this thing come true. if i sold this idea i could make very, very rich. but i got no money to patent it or pay a lawyer. a friend from work had an ideia an somebody bought it and made it an invention...it was some tipe of chair that sprays water for tanning...but i remember she spent over 10.000 w/ lawyer and everything elso. the kind of money i really dont have..so if you know anything let me know.

On large vehicles (Trucks, buses, etc) the hub-caps on the front wheels are concave (stick out) whereas all the other wheels' hub-caps are concave (stick inwards), but on small vehicles (cars, 4WD's, etc) both sets of hub caps are the same.

Why is this???

i ordered a body kit for my car a 00 dodge neon from a local bussiness called DCS and they took the money and ran of to california. i have contacted the bbb and they just kept extending there time then finaly told me there was nothing they could do i lost almost 400 so it will not be worth it to get a attorney right this problem is verry frustrating
