I remember hearing stories about when gas went up ppl stood up and got prices lowered. It makes sence to me that supply meets demand so wouldnt it work the opposite, demand meets supply?? Back then "we" did not put up with that sort of thing. What ever happened to "We the ppl" don't we or can we have a say in the matter, or have we gotten too busy to care or too cofortable to notice anymore that we do have a certain amount of power I mean without us they are nothing. The next question is how do you get the word to ppl to stop bying gas for just 3 days.Do that and watch what happens. The amount of gas used daily is in the millions of gallons just for casual driving thats excluding emergancy and big corperate consomption so in short 3 days will turn heads garenteed. So how do "we" get the word out any thoughts?

Me and my husband want to get two cars to share, a fun little car and an SUV as a family car.

For Suvs we are looking at:

Lexus GX
Lexus LX
Porsche Cayenne S ( This is a very fun car)
Range Rover ( Something my husband likes, I don't like em)
Volvo XC 90 ( in the V8)

For fun cars we are looking at:

Porsche Boxster S
Lexus SC430 ( does not handle like a roadster, but has a nice ride)
Mecedes SL 500/Slk 55

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Was looking at the X5, but since they are redesigning it next year, I think I am going to hold off on that

I have to drive a van because I carry around a 350-pound electric wheelchair and lift. It would be nice to have a hybrid van, though.

I'm in California, but I may be travelling to Seattle soon. I have this letter that I'm writing to someone who is in New York, and I don't know if it will be ready while I'm in California or Seattle. So my question is, if I sent a letter from the west coast, how long would it take for that letter to arrive on the east coast?

Seems like automanufacturers are way behind on developing hybrid cars, ethanol (e-85), and electric cars. For years and years they've been talking about how much they're developing. Just to appease the US public. What's the hold up? I speculate that oil companies and the fact that automakers realize that everyone will eventually have to buy a new technology car, so why allow them to switch now, wait till later when you can make a larger profit and finish milking the gas powered car market. Where are you US government when we need you?

Brazil has become 80% independent of using fuel oil in cars trucks and aircraft by switching to ethanol produced from sugar cane. What prevents the USA from doing the same?

I need to know how to get gnats out of the RV and the holding tank. We have tried everything. We empty the tank once a week and we have been using vinegar to soak and flush. What else can be done?
